Youtube Influencers 

Most people especially people my age spend at least some time on Youtube during the week some every day. For example, JJ is on Youtube almost every single day watching random sports videos or people building houses from mud and sticks. Influencers are taking over the world of social media whether it be makeup gurus, gamers, comedians, etc... In the past I have discussed many Youtuber's as I subscribe to a lot of different users. I tend to watch a lot of beauty/makeup influencers but I do watch a couple vloggers. Everyone knows the names like Jake/Logan Paul, James Charles, Cole&Sav, The Dolan Twins, David Dobrik, etc.. Comedy and vlogging go hand and hand these days David Dobrik is known for crazy videos where either he is doing random dumb ideas or spending loads of money. His most recent video? Taking his friends drunk thirsty texts with a picture of him and posting them on a billboard. He actually got his start on the app Vine which is very similar to the very popular TikTok. He even married his best friends mom for clickbait which only lasted one month. Surprisingly enough these shenanigans have earned him over 15 million subscribers and 6.8 billion views. He was ranked in the top 5 last year for the most viewed creator channel on Youtube. He has won Kid's Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards for his comedic videos. His net worth is estimated at over 7 million dollars. His vine and Youtube videos have brought him so much fame that he is a judge on Nickelodeon's America's Most Musical Family.

 

Following along with the trend of influencers who started on vine The Dolan Twins got their influencer start the same way. Now it also helps that the two identical twins are very good looking bringing in a large female demographic. These two actually have a contract with AwesomenessTV to produce content and receive large payments for their ideas. Their videos aren't as vulgar or comedic as Dobrik's but they come up with ideas to please their fans. They do fan mail unboxing, fan art appreciation videos, challenges with celebrities, and survival challenges. Along with that they did hangout with other Youtuber's for more views like makeup pro James Charles and comedian Emma Chamberlain. The twins are only 20 years old and moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles at age 16. They currently have over 10.6 million subscribers and 1.52 billion views on their channel. The twins don't have a net worth together and one is more successful than the other on social media platforms. Grayson has an estimated net worth of 3 million dollars due to his influencer life style on Instagram and twitter. Ethan is estimated at around 1 million as he doesn't gain as much money through his social media he spends more time gaming. They have also won multiple awards for their Youtube content however they don't post as much as they used to which has slowed their subscribers. Their father recently passed away due to cancer and they released a video saying the grief was overwhelming them at the time and instead of weekly videos they would be more spontaneous, not on a schedule. Their popularity through Youtube has also led them to create a widely successful perfume collection that has sold out almost every restock. Along with their own merchandise they have also modeled for top brands like Louis Vuitton. 

Last but not least I want to bring up the very popular family Youtuber's the Labrant Family. I've actually done a presentation on them for advanced public speaking before and subscribe to their channel. Their channel is made for a christian audience or family viewing. They do a lot of what David Dobrik does where they vlog their daily lives or struggles for other families to relate to. The channel consists of Sav Labrant who makes her money through Youtube and modeling as an influencer on Instagram. She married famous viner Cole Labrant who is also known for his public speaking at large christian events as the pair are very open about their faith. Along with them are their two daughter Everleigh who is seven and Posie who just turned one. The pair have their first baby boy on the way right now. The family has gained popularity for their beauty and how relatable they are as the pair are very young in age. They have 10.9 million subscribers to their channel and have released their own book of the twos love story. Sav also relates to a whole new demographic as she became pregnant with her first daughter unmarried at age 19. They also do Q&A videos where they answer any questions the fans have and they try to keep every thing family friendly on their page. Their current net worth is estimated at over 12 million dollars.

These are just a view of the top Youtuber's being viewed and subscribed to. The world of Youtube is continuing to grow and with this so well the content. Youtube plays a large part in programming trends around the world and will continue to grow over time.
